It will all be taking place from 5pm until 8pm Thursday 29th November outside Morrisons / The Odeon cinema. Come down and support Hot-Dog!

9 September 2012 - Chariots of Fur Mascot Triathlon, Wimbledon Common
Our mascot Hot-Dog competed against around 20 other mascots in the sporting event of 2012. The Chariots of Fur Mascot Triathlon
was a fun family event where the mascots backed by sponsors aimed to rasie money for charity - on this occasion The
Children's Liver Disease Foundation. The three events in the triathlon were lawn dart accuracy, bean bag toss and a hurdles race.
The event was part of the Wimbledon Commons Stables Open Day by the windmill.

2 September 2012 - St Mungo's Sponsored Dog Walk, Morden Hall Park
St Mungo's the homeless charity raised money by organsing a Sponsored Dog Walk.
Doggy Boutique was there to ensure all walkers had ample poo bags, treats, water carriers etc.

2 September 2012 - National Trust's Canine Capers, Morden Hall Park
After the sucess of previous years the Canine Capers has grown from strength to strength. We meet up with other dog businesses to bring everything a dog could dream of to the park.
Our mobile pop-up shop was there giving grooming advice, selling treats and accessories, and keeping a watchful eye over the fun dog show where dogs could win Doggy Boutique prizes and Rosette. 11am-3pm

27 August 2012 - Morden Park August Bank Holiday Fete, Morden
The annual August Bank Holiday fete at Morden Park is a much loved event bring the local community together
to enjoy the park and the end of August.

15 July 2012 - Belmont Festival, Belmont Village, Sutton
The Festival is held in the heart of Belmont Village and stretches from the main shopping area (Station Road),
through the grounds of St John's Church and into the park adjacent to Belmont Rise. The event is widely
publicised and attracts residents from all over the south of the Borough.

2 June 2012 - Mitcham Carnival, Three Kings Piece, Mitcham
The Mitcham Carnival was held on the Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday Weekend, the event started with a float parade from Figgs Marsh ending up at the Three Kings Piece common where over 120
charity and trade stalls are sited, a full size fun fair, a large arena hosting 'Knights of the Damned', a jousting stunt team, and the mascot race. We took one of our bichon's Louis who
had been groomed with a union jack flag on his back, and our Doggy Boutique mascot "Hot-Dog" who was the mascot that everyone wanted their photo taken next to.

19 May 2012 - Merton Dogwatch 2012, Morden Park
The second annual Dogwatch event brings together all the Dogwatch members to meet in a Merton park to have a fun day out, as the founding supporter with Met Police we have been helping the local
community since 2009, along the way we have been joined by local animal charities, dog trainers, animal photographers etc. The day included free microchipping, free to enter "Doggy Boutique" dog
show with four classes, Best Puppy, Best Male, Best Female and Merton Mutt - All winners walk away with a rosette and Doggy Boutique goody bag. Our friends All Breeds Training run an Agility Course, and we welcome various charities from the local Riverside Animal Centre to RSPCA and Battersea Dogs Home. We currently have over 600 members
signed up to the scheme.

20 February 2012 - BETA International Show, N.E.C. Birmingham
Another week and another trade show, this one takes up three of the N.E.C. large exhibitions halls, it had stands from both small manufactures to large wholesalers. We managed to find some
great new products that we can include into our range, we are always looking for new innovative products that stands us out from the competitors.

1 January 2012 - Metro Deco Cafe Brighton
Our Boutique and Grooming Parlour is shut today so we venture south to Brighton and visit the notorious Metro Deco Cafe in Brighton. They welcome dogs and cater for
them serving Snaffles Gourmet Dog Bisquits, we tasted the various sandwiches, quiche, salads and cakes. Our three dogs loved it and met a new friend who also loved the food.

9 October 2011 - British Dog Grooming Championship
We have just returned from the 31st British Dog Grooming Championship, it was a long day with
an early start but it was enjoyable and we made some very useful contacts with others in the industry. Next year we will return with the Groomer Of The Year trophy.

21 September 2011 - Glee Petindex
It seems to get smaller and smaller each year, but the advantage with the Glee Petindex show is that it
tends to be smaller, newer suppliers that are not normally at the other trade shows so you can, if lucky
find a really unique supplier that most of the competition miss. This year we have come away with some
great products for toilet time and also some smart coats for this winter. Keep an eye out for the new
lines in the shop soon. We know you'll love them.

29 August 2011 - Morden Park Bank Holiday Fair
The annual fete is a big attraction in Morden with live music, dog show, ferret racing, classic car show,
a small funfair, car boot sale and community stalls. Not only did we have a large stall at the show, we
were also responsible for the Dog Show where 5 different catergories took part to win trophies, rosettes,
and Doggy Boutique goody bags. We met a lot of new customers and the dogs all enjoyed themselves.
